Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession? Do you have an apprenticeship program?

Yes, our HR team will get in touch with you to ask some initial questions. More technical questions regarding the job duties will be addressed in a formal interview setting which can include the Hiring/Department Manager(s) as well as an HR Representative.

Minnesota Truck and Trailer has access to an in-house facility to keep our technicians educated and informed so they can grow in their career and our company! We help them to stay up to date on their skills because we believe in growing and investing in our employees.

Your application will be considered and reviewed in comparison with the other resumes we received. The most–qualified applicants may be invited to participate in an additional assessment such as an interview. Selected applicants will be contacted by text message, phone, or email to set up an interview.  A typical time-frame is about 1-3 weeks.

Minnesota Truck and Trailer provides most everything outside of the basic mechanic tool set that a technician would own. We also offer a tool allowance of up to $800 annually to help our technicians put the best tools in their toolbox.

Minnesota Truck and Trailer has representatives that attend job fairs in our local communities. We also have an Apprentice Technician Scholarship Program which provides tuition assistance based upon grade-point average as well as an annual tool allowance to help them jump start their careers. We do high school visits and are eager to assist in any other questions a high school student or tech student may have about pursuing a career in this field.
